Getting xlive on your device
Android installation via APK
We distribute xlive for Android as an APK file rather than through the Google Play Store. To install, first visit the xlive download page and save the APK to your device storage. Next, open Settings → Security → Unknown Sources and enable installation from sources outside the Play Store. Then navigate to your Downloads folder, tap the xlive APK, and follow the on-screen prompts. The installation completes in seconds.
Android 7.0 or later is required. Our app requests permission to access your device's storage (for local transaction logs), camera (for identity verification during KYC), location (to confirm your jurisdiction eligibility), and network connectivity. You can review and modify these permissions in Settings → Apps after installation.
iOS access and home-screen setup
iOS users cannot install APK files. Instead, we recommend opening xlive in Safari or any web browser on your iOS device and bookmarking the page for quick access. For a more app-like experience, tap the share button, select "Add to Home Screen," and create an xlive shortcut on your home screen. This shortcut opens xlive in Safari each time you tap it, with faster loading and persistent login sessions.
iOS 12.0 or later is recommended. Our web interface uses responsive design to fit all screen sizes and automatically detects your device type. Push notifications work through the browser on iOS 16+, alerting you to account updates, withdrawal confirmations, and Liga 1 / Piala AFF match schedules. If notifications do not appear, check Settings → Safari → Notifications and ensure xlive is enabled.
Web browser access
You can also access xlive directly via any web browser—Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge—on desktop or mobile. No download or installation needed. Simply visit xlive.id, log in with your username and password, and your account opens immediately. The web interface is fully responsive and optimised for touch screens on phones and tablets.
Browser access is useful when you share a device or prefer not to install an app. The trade-off is slightly slower load times compared to the native Android app, since data is not cached locally. For frequent players in Jakarta, Surabaya, or Bandung, we recommend the Android APK for consistently faster slot and live casino access.
Installation steps and account setup
Once you open xlive, you will be prompted to log in if you already have an account. If not, tap "Open an account" and provide your username, email, password, and mobile number. We send a verification code to your email—enter it to confirm. Next, we ask for your government ID number and address to complete Know-Your-Customer (KYC) verification. This step takes a few minutes and is required before you can deposit or withdraw.
After KYC approval, you can deposit funds via mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, or local payment. Choose your payment method, enter the amount, and follow the payment gateway's instructions. Your balance updates instantly. You are now ready to explore our slot games (Aviator, Sweet Bonanza, Gates of Olympus, Fortune Tiger, Mahjong Ways), live casino tables, and sportsbook markets.
App versus browser: strengths and trade-offs
Native App (Android)
- Offline cache speeds up load times on return visits
- Push notifications for slot tournaments and sportsbook odds
- Dedicated app icon on home screen for instant access
Browser Access
- No installation required—works on all devices and browsers
- Automatic updates with no manual version management
- Slightly longer load times without local caching
The Android app is best for users who play regularly and want the fastest load times, especially for fast-paced slot games and live casino tables. Browser access suits casual users, shared devices, and iOS owners who prefer not to manage app installations. Both paths connect to the same account, so you can switch between app and browser without losing any data.
Device compatibility and system requirements
Our xlive app requires Android 7.0 (API level 24) or later. Most phones and tablets released in the last six years meet this requirement. Check your device's Android version in Settings → About Phone → Android Version. If your device runs Android 6.0 or earlier, browser access via xlive.id remains available.
For iOS, we recommend iOS 12.0 or later. iOS 16+ enables push notifications through the browser. Older iOS devices can still access xlive via Safari, but some features (such as background login persistence) may behave differently.
Common installation issues and solutions
On Android, the most common issue is the "Unknown sources" security setting. If the APK fails to install, verify that Settings → Security → Unknown Sources is enabled. Some regional devices disable this by default. A second issue is insufficient storage space—xlive requires at least 50 MB free. If installation hangs, free up space and try again.
For iOS, if home-screen shortcuts do not launch xlive correctly, clear your Safari cache (Settings → Safari → Clear History and Website Data) and recreate the shortcut. If push notifications do not arrive, enable Notifications for Safari in Settings → Safari → Notifications and restart your browser. On all devices, ensure your internet connection is stable—a weak or unstable connection may interrupt account login or KYC verification.
Troubleshooting tips
- Enable "Unknown sources" on Android before installing the APK
- Free up at least 50 MB storage space on your device
- Check your internet connection stability during login and verification
- Clear browser cache if home-screen shortcuts do not work on iOS
- Contact live chat support if you cannot complete KYC verification
Data, permissions, and account security on xlive
Our app encrypts all communication between your device and our servers using TLS 1.3 standard. We store your account credentials securely and never transmit passwords in plain text. During KYC, we collect your government ID number and address—these are processed securely and retained only for verification purposes, in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
The app requests permission to access your device's camera for ID photo capture during account verification, location for jurisdiction confirmation, and storage for offline transaction logs. You can revoke any of these permissions in Settings → Apps → xlive → Permissions, though revoking location or camera access may prevent KYC completion. We do not access your contacts, messages, or other private data. Our support team at xlive operates in English and Indonesian and is available via live chat during business hours to answer questions about account security, data handling, and verification procedures.
